Piatra Neamt is undoubtedly one of the main tourist attractions in the Moldova region; More than this, it is a region with potential for development. Through the shopping city`Piatra Neamt` we need to provide residents and tourists with an essential mix of international and local brands that full fill their needs . For this reason the entertaiment area and the furnished terrace are elements will distinguish this shopping center from any other destinations in the Moldova region.
In the last few years NEPI has invested intensively in Romania; Shopping City Piatra-Neamt is the second commercial center opening this year after Shopping City Timisoara . In the first year after completing an investment of 25 milion euros, it was expected to be visited by more then 5,5 million people, said Sebastian Mahu asset Manager to NAPI.
Shopping City at Piatra Neamt was developed by New Europe Property Investment (NEPI).The gallery provides altogether over 70 commercial spaces and has over 1500 employees with one of the new spacesbeing the Carrefour hypermarket , the French group being the first in this area.
The commercial center covering a total leasable area of 28,000 square meters , is on two levels and includes an outdoorarea of 1000 seats, accessible by the two round about screated at the entrances on Decebal Boulevard and Bistritei Street .The ground floor houses fashion, sports, beauty, jewelery and accessories, home & deco, children and toys, technology, as well as pharmacies, banks, petshop, car service and optical services.
Level 1 is the area dedicated to a food court and entertainment areas, complete with an outdoor terrace offering a panoramic view of the mountain peaks. The area hosts restaurants and cafes , some of which are newcomers to Romania, as well as various leisure options for all ages including the MaxFun recreation area and Children Paradise playground all provided by MaxBet casino.

Furniture from public spaces is inspired by the Cucuteni culture, made of HI-MACS
The excellent idea and source of inspiration to use the symbols specific to CucutenI culture came from the September media.It was used as the conceptual basis of the visual communication campaign for Shopping City Piatra Neamt and is to be found in the furniture elements of the public spaces as well as in the signaling and targeting elements present throughout the gallery.
Reception mall furniture made of HI-MACS and MDF painted
Inspired by the concept of the September Media, Atvangarde Design Team has proposed info desk furniture, staircases and directional panels suspended in linear shapes with straight lines and angle joints from HI-MACS Alpine White and MDF painted supercoat with Cucuteni culture specific symbols in fused into the HI-MACS surface of painted MDF elements.
All of these commercial furniture items are highlighted by LED lighting with a color temperature of 6,000 K.
Food-court furniture area of HPL modular furniture and ecological leather sofas.
For the food-court area, we chose furniture with a composition of HPL and walnut essence with powder blue green for modular sofas.
The perimeter of the area is bounded by three elements over 5 meters long, with a three-fold functionality: furniture for specific seating bars to the traffic lane, banquets with modular sofas to the dining area, but also as commercial furniture elements that incorporate pots with a separating role between the two areas to give space warmth.For the delimitation area architects from HBRO have opted for straight elements of commercial furniture. In the service area they proposed curved elements, half circles that give extra elegance to the space, giving an ambiencemore reminiscent of a hotel lobby rather than fast-food service area.
Thus, they were made of a piece of metallic rolled structure, painted in electrostatic field, generous and comfy sofas whose seat and back are covered in ecological powder blue powder in The same composition as walnut HPL of which they have all items of food-court furniture were made. For protection, all these elements have been fitted with stainless steel 20 cm high satin sheet.All of these items are complemented by debarking and table-top dining tables made of compact HPL that are already well-established in all NEPI galleries and not only with steel-painted steel pole.
The food-court area is towards an open terrace where, when weather allows, the public can relax in the open air overlooking the mountain area. In this area, HI-MACS has been chosen as the choice for tableware because of the excellent exterior properties of this material.
The Shopping City project in Piatra Neamţ merely confirms Atvangarde’s experience and technological design, execution and assembly capability in the field of public and commercial furniture. This project ends in 2016 and comes after a series of mobiles for the mall successfully completed by Atvangarde:
